- Cristiano Ronaldo currently makes more than four Serie A clubs in earnings
- The top Italian clubs include Udinese, Hellas Verona, Spezia and Crotone
- Four Juventus players also earn more than any other player in the top division
Cristiano Ronaldo earns more money than four Serie A teams combined after his wages at Juventus were revealed, The Sun.
Reports claim that the Portuguese striker earns around £540,000-a-week since his 2018 summer move from Real Madrid.
Clubs Udinese, Hellas Verona, Spezia and Crotone have the same or a lower squad bill than what Ronaldo earns yearly.
Italian news media outlet La Gazzetta dello Sport, claims that the 35-year-old earns four times more than the next highest-paid player in the division.
Dutch youngster Matthijs de Ligt is understood to be on a £7.2m-a-year salary, with a £138k-a-week wages, followed by Adrien Rabiot and Aaron Ramsey, who both earn £6.3m.
Ronaldo has continued from where he left off last season scoring an incredible 15 goals out of 13 games in Serie A this campaign.
And he is one goal away from becoming the highest goalscorer in the history of football if he scores against Inter Milan at the San Siro to hit the 760-goal mark.
Meanwhile, Legit.ng had earlier reported that Cristiano Ronaldo got dressed up as a superhero for an advert mobile game 'Free Fire' as he battled with a gang of bad guys, The Sun.
The 35-year-old posted the short video clip on his Instagram handle as he appeared as an animated character.
The Juventus striker captioned the dramatic video:
"Legend Of The Bounty Hunter: Part 2. Join the Battle. Be the Legend.
"Download Free Fire on your mobile phone now, and join the battle with me. #OperationChrono #FFxCR7 @freefireth @freefirevnofficial @garenafreefiremena."
Legit.ng also reported that Cristiano Ronaldo's goal against Sassuolo in Serie A means he has equalled the all-time record for the most goals scored in football.
The five-time ballon d'Or winner is now tied with Czech legend Josef Biscan who scored 759 goals, the most scored by an individual player in the history of the round leather game.
His brace during the 3-1 win over Udinese after the New year saw him move past Brazilian legend Pele who scored 757 goals.
