Ardent Arsenal fan Piers Morgan has offered Mesut Ozil a lift to the airport amid reports the midfielder has struck an agreement with Fenerbahce.
Ozil has endured a turbulent spell at the Emirates in recent months, with Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta freezing him out of the squad.
It is believed the German star may have played his last game for the Gunners, with the club desperate to offload him this January.
Despite being the club's highest earners, Ozil is yet to make any appearance for the side this season, with Arteta striking his name out his Premier League and Europa squads.
The World Cup-winning star's uncertain future has seen him linked with a move away this January given his deal with Arsenal is due to expire in the summer.
There have been conflicting reports regarding his next destination, with Football.London initially claiming the ex-Real Madrid star could be headed to MLS side, DC United.
However, Metro UK citing Turkish outlet DHA Spor report Ozil has been offered a deal Fenerbahce and a move could be imminent as transfer talks gather momentum.
It is believed the football star of Turkey descent has already agreed a three-year deal over a move to the Istanbul-based club.
And reacting to the news, Pires, a renowned critic of Ozil has expressed his delight at the 32-year-old leaving Emirates, and even offered him a lift to the airport.
"Finally, some good news in 2021! If you need a (covid-secure) lift to the airport @MesutOzil1088, let me know," he tweeted.

Despite the growing speculation on Ozil's future, it remains to be seen if he can finally end his nightmare stay with the Gunners this January.
