Coronavirus: Man raises controversy on Twitter as he quotes photos of pool party

- A man has generated so much controversy online after using a quote that read that he is positive for coronavirus

- While many people assumed he is talking about himself, others said that the quotation marks proved otherwise

- The massive reactions that followed his tweet have created a trending discussion around the spread of the disease

A man with the Twitter handle @Ant_089 on Saturday, December 26, took to the bird app with a quote that he is COVID-19 positive.

He quoted a tweet of people having fun in a pool. He asked that whoever was at the same party as he should go and get their health examined.

It is, however, not sure if he meant he is positive or simply using the quote as a way to raise awareness against attending parties.

"Hi guys, I tested positive for COVID yesterday. Anyone who was at Siya’s pool party this past Saturday please go get tested."

Meanwhile, Legit.ng earlier reported that the government of the United States of America recognised the efforts of Onyema Ogbuagbu, a Nigerian doctor in Yale School of Medicine who helped to develop a coronavirus vaccine.

It should be noted that the Nigerian is also an associate professor of medicine at the same school where he has been a principal investigator on numerous vaccine trials.
