Female protester who warmed hearts during the EndSARS protest has got a new prosthetic leg with the money Nigerians donated for her.

The young lady identified as Jane Obiene inspired many with her bravery after a photo of her in crutches standing in solidarity went viral.

According to a social media influencer, Aproko Doctor, Jane will also be getting the sum of N1 million to start a business and the rest of the money will be used in getting an accommodation for her.

Aproko Doctor wrote:

"You guys remember Jane? We raised money over a month ago for a new leg. Today she's training on using it. She'll also be receiving 1 million naira to help her start her business while Charles will use the rest to get accommodation.
"Thank you Nigeria. Thank you @donate_ng."

Jane took to the social media platform to express gratitude over the development, saying this is a moment she will never forget.

She wrote:

"Wow! I don’t know where to start from, I’m not the type for big speeches. I’m overwhelmingly ecstatic, this is a moment I will never forget. I can say Christmas came early for me."
