Popular Glee star Naya Rivera is reportedly missing after going out on a boat trip on a lake.
The actress was with her four-year-old son who was found alone in the boat in Southern California, US.
According to BBC, Naya rented the boat on Wednesday, July 8, afternoon at Lake Piru, which is on the north-left of Los Angeles, as reported by the Ventura County Sherrif's office.
They were both seen going out on the lake together according to Sheriff's Captain Eric Buschow, who was speaking at a news conference, as reported by CNN.
The search operation is reported to be underway.

The child was said to have been wearing a life jacket and there was an adult one that was found on the boat.
The young boy could not tell what happened and is reported to have been sleeping when a boater discovered their boat drifting on the lake.
Naya's last post on Instagram was of her and the young son sharing a tight embrace, which she captioned: "Just the two of us."
On Friday, July 3, Rivera had tweeted about life's uncertainty. She wrote about every day one is alive as being a blessing while charging people to make the most of it as tomorrow is not promised.
She was best known for playing Santana Lopez - the cold-hearted cheerleader in the popular comedy series Glee.
She was married to actor Ryan Dorsey in 2014, who fathered her son before they divorced in 2018.
Meanwhile, Legit.ng reported the news of the death of veteran actor, Jimmy Johnson, of the rested television series, Village Headmaster.
Johnson was popularly known for his role as Okoro in Village Headmaster, a well-known TV series on NTA in the 80s. He is said to have been 80 years old at the time of his death.
