Popular Nigerian singer Tiwa Savage recently got more than she bargained for after she dropped a seemingly harmless comment on a photo shared by American singer, Kelly Rowland.
Rowland had taken to her official Instagram page to share a lovely photo of herself rocking a swimwear piece. The photo put the singer’s perfectly toned body on display and got her followers gushing.
Moved by the banging body, Tiwa Savage had taken to the comment section with an emoticon showing that she was totally in love with the photo.
However, this was followed by a remark in which the singer noted that no single stretchmark could be seen on Rowland’s body.

However, shortly after Tiwa dropped her comment, some other users on the platform were quick to call her out for what she said.
One user identified @m.yablele noted that the comment dropped by the singer is what makes a lot of women feel insecure about their bodies. She added that indeed Rowland had stretchmarks and Tiwa should have simply focused on complimenting the beauty of the photo.
Rowland was also seen in the comment section addressing another follower who asked how she got rid of her stretchmarks. Responding, she said: "I have them. Will post a picture sooner or later so you can see them. I have got nothing to hide."
