Singer Brymo says no body of work on the continent can match his latest album

Popular Nigerian singer Olwale Olofooro, professionally known as Brymo, has taken to social media to brag about his latest album, Yellow. The complete album was released on Wednesday, April 1.

The singer shared how he felt about the greatness of the album after a fan shared her thoughts on it.

A Twitter user identified as Mz_Ella­_Molla shared a post, saying that she just listened to the album and she thought it was good but not great.

Brymo replied to her tweet and bragged about his work. He noted that the album is great contrary to what she believes.

The singer added that no body of work released or unreleased on the continent can match the album in a decade.

In his reply, he went added to state that the only work that can match it is when he releases his next major album.

The 33-year-old singer, who is also a songwriter, composer, and author, started his career in 1999, he was in secondary school at the time. He signed a record deal with Chocolate City in 2010, but he was later accused of breaching his contract in 2013.

He said that people with dual citizenship view Nigeria as an option. The singer stated that many of them just love the country from afar and they only come home when they feel like. Brymo gave an example, saying that some people stay in other countries for the week only to come back home to the tribe for fun. He described it as a selfish love.
