The month of April is most likely to be a very long one for Nollywood actress, Funke Akindele, seeing as her name has been on the lips of many people and not for good reasons.
The actress and her husband, Abdulrasheed Bello, had hosted a birthday party at their home and it had a large number of people in attendance, as seen in videos shared on Instagram.
At the event was also controversial singer, Naira Marley, and people called for their arrest. The couple was eventually arrested and the singer reportedly turned himself in to the authorities.
Just recently, the news made the rounds that another singer, Small Doctor, was also at the party and that he has also turned himself in to the police.
A photo was even circulated showing someone who appeared to be the singer covering his face while being led inside a vehicle.
Well, Small Doctor has now taken to his Instagram page to react to the claims which he tagged as false.
The Omo Better singer said that he was not at the party and he has no reason to have been arrested in relation to that. Small Doctor also used the opportunity to slam and curse people who peddled the fake news.

In other related news, Legit.ng also reported that comedian, AY Makun, took to social media to also defend Funke Akindele after her arraignment.
According to him, he agrees that nobody is above the law but he also wishes that those who called out the actress can also do the same for oppressors in the government.
