Three second-half goals from Serge Gnabry and Robert Lewandowski were all Bayern Munich needed to claim their first victory over Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.
The Blues put up an impressive performance in the first stanza of the encounter to keep the German League giants from finding the back of the net.

The 24-year-old doubled the Bavarians lead in the 54th minute to complete his brace in the crunch fixture.
Gnabry made a run down the left flank of the pitch to connect with a second straight assist from Lewandowski before putting the ball into the extreme right corner of the post.
Despite stretching beyond limit, Wilfredo Caballero still could not save the ball from crossing the goal line after his defenders had been caught off guard.
Meanwhile, the Poland striker increased his Champions League goal tally to 11 goals in just six appearances so far this campaign.
The Bundesliga champions now take a three-goal advantage back to the Allianz Arena ahead of the second leg next month.
Marcos Alonso compounded Chelsea's woes towards the end of the match after bagging a straight red card for fouling the visitor's third goal scorer Lewandowski in the 83rd minute.

This will, however, put Lampard in a more dangerous situation as he would be forced to reshuffle his team going into the second leg of the fixture.
