The Nation reports that state governors in Nigeria have expressed worry over the depletion of the ECA from $325 million to $70 million just in a space of one month.
The governors were surprised that the withdrawal was made without their consent since they are regarded as stakeholders of the same account.

The Guardian reports that as the Senate is making moves towards approving the creation of state police, governors are thinking of appointing commissioners for the force in their individual states.
According to the bill, the officers of the Nigerian Police Force will be operating at a national level, while state police will be in charge of the security of Nigerians in states.
The bill, which is still being debated upon in the Senate, was first sponsored by the former deputy Senate president, Ike Ekweremadu.
