Lagosians reportedly scoop fuel as tanker falls in VI

- A video has emerged showing people gathered around a fallen tanker trying to scoop fuel

A video that has been making circulation on Twitter reportedly shows Lagosians trying to scoop fuel from a fallen tanker in Victoria Island.

While the real location of the video cannot be ascertained, a Twitter user with the name Danzaki Fatima said the incident happened at Bonny camp in VI.

She lamented the fact that those involved were not even scared for their lives.

Meanwhile, Legit.ng earlier reported that three persons were burnt to death when a petrol-laden tanker fell and exploded at Atatun, Ijaiye-Tutun along Alamala Barracks in Abeokuta, Ogun state.

It was gathered that the incident occurred after the tanker driver parked beside a sloppy part of the road to fix a flat tyre.

The witness who identified herself as Olufote, said not long after the driver alighted from the vehicle, the tanker tilted and exploded because it was parked on a slope.

She said a Mosque and some houses were burnt by the fire. The witness disclosed that the victims of the fire are currently at the Federal Medical Centre, Idi-Aba.

In other news, an Abuja based lawyer, Annebrefa, on Twitter on Friday, February, 21, raised an alarm on the 4000 divorce applications that have been filed this year alone.

She said added that those applications were just those filed in the country's capital. Imagine if other states are factored in. Annebrefa added that some of the marriages involved were just a year old. She ended her by asking "What is really happening?".
