Just recently, a social media user identified as Ogonne (@caren_diala) took to the microblogging platform, Twitter, with some photos of a Nigerian Police Force (NPF) van, that was allegedly turned to a commercial vehicle for the sake of stranded commuters.

According to Ogbonne who posted the pictures, she witnessed the moment the police van was flagged down around the Eko hotel roundabout area and used to convey people heading towards Ojuelegba axis.

As expected, social media users could not help but react to the photos. A Twitter handle claimed that the officers involved could be disciplined if they collected money from people that were conveyed by the vehicle.

"If they were doing it without collecting money, that is a laudable thing to do or see! But if they collected money, it is illegal act! If they are reported, they will get severe disciplinary actions!" the tweet read.
