- Nigerian singer, Jaywon, has taken to social media to explain why a woman needs to know how to cook
- According to him, nobody wants to marry a woman who does not know her way around in the kitchen
- Jaywon's post comes shortly after Pastor Adeboye's advice to bachelors
Earlier on, Legit.ng reported the news of how general overseer of Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Enoch Adeboye, advised bachelors to marry women who know how to cook. This however sparked a debate online.
Joining in the conversation is Nigerian singer, Jaywon, who took to his Instagram page to state that nobody wants to marry a woman who cannot cook. He stated that the woman he ends up with doesn't necessarily have to apply the skill, but it is important she knows how to prepare a meal.
Jaywon further advised women who were lacking in that department to be wise and take cooking classes. He ended it by stating that no man can proudly come out to reveal their wives' inability to cook.

Also reacting to Adeboye's advice is media personality, Toke Makinwa.
According to Toke, men should also learn how to cook so that they do not base their choice of their future partners on their bellies.
She wrote: “Cooking is not restricted to gender, guys learn how to cook so you don’t base the entirety of picking a life partner on your belly, if you don’t want to, make enough to hire a chef. Life is too short to be triggered all the time.”
