- After being unlucky in finding love, a man decided to create a personalised billboard and website
- The man took the bold step to woo a partner after conventional methods failed him
- Social media users saws the funny side as his post went viral
Legit.ng has recently reported on examples of several young couple who are serving relationship goals.
Unfortunately, not everyone is lucky in finding their perfect match, as Mark Rofe had learnt.
After failing to land a date through conventional means, Mark decided to adopt a unique and comical approach.
He created a personalised billboard and his own website in the hope of landing his perfect partner.
Mark shared news of the decision via Twitter recently and it sparked a strong response.
He took it one step further by initiating a fundraiser in an attempt to acquire more billboard advertising.
Some tweeps empathised with Mark, but most simply saw the funny side and appreciated his lighthearted post.
Duane Brown (@duanebrown) said,
"Nice job Mark. Dating is harder these days and the apps don't make it easier. People think their is endless choices and thus they can be x as picky."
Hayley Jordan (@HayleyfrmNZ) was up for the challenge:
"You seem a bit strange but I'll go on a date with you next time you're in Manchester."
Mike McGrail (@mike_mcgrail) congratulated Mark on his idea:
"Well played! Over 1000 dating applications I see"
Just recently, Legit.ng reported that a young Alabama couple decided to do something cheeky just to have fun and get strangers to react.
According to reports from Mirror UK, Corinne Miller and Adam Carroll were on a trip to Atlanta just one month into their relationship when they decided to play a funny prank.
The love birds decided to fake a marriage proposal. Adam and Corinne even connived with a bartender and another drinker to make their naughty plan run smoothly.
The couple’s cheeky plan worked and onlookers who were impressed by the show of romance bought them drinks and they even proceeded to another bar to toast to the ‘engagement’.
