Touka: Meet visually-impaired lady who works as a photographer

People who say nothing in life is impossible might have a point as Touka's story totally buttresses it. Despite the fact that she lost her sight, the creative lady still became a photographer.
In her interview with DM News, she said she had always wanted to learn photography and the Up for the Challenge made her dream come through.
In taking a group picture, Touka touches bodies to calculate the distances between them so that she can make an excellent composition.
“My teacher started an initiative to teach photography to blind people, so I learned it. It was a dream for me to learn photography,” she said.
The celebrant of the birthday she did her first photoshoot, Hana Ahmed, said that though the method may be unconventional, practicing photography will make Touka feel normal.
Khaled Farid, the teacher who taught her, specialises in teaching about camera parts and how to use them.
In speaking with the media, he said the purpose of the initiative is to help blind people so that they do not feel as if they are missing anything.
Her mother, Mervat Mohammed, said she had always been fascinated by photography. She added that they always gave her their mobile phones and tell her to shoot.
Meanwhile, Legit.ng earlier reported that a visually impaired man, Ibrahim Sodeeq, has been receiving accolades for his extraordinary ability to ride a bicycle despite his condition.

The 22-year-old man who hails from Isale-Oke, Saki West local government area of Oyo state has no doubt made his disability a great source of empowerment.
During a practical demonstration of the riding exercise that took place at his hostel premises at Off Adegbite road along Isemi-Ile road, Okeho, on Friday, January 24, Sodeeq said he was a perfect and professional bicycle rider before he became blind in 2010.
