Apparently determined to reverse his sack as the governor of Imo, Emeka Ihedioha, has finally sought the review of the Supreme Court judgement that declared the candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Hope Uzodinma, as authentic governor of the state.

Meanwhile, Legit.ng had previously reported that Biafra Zionists Federation on Tuesday, February 4, gave Governor Uzodinma of Imo state a 14-day ultimatum to vacate office.

It was reported that the separatist group gave the ultimatum through its leader, Benjamin Onwuka. It claimed that Uzodinma is an impostor who would never enjoy the support of Imo people owing to lack of legitimacy.

In a related development, the coalition, Defence of Nigerian Democracy and Constitution, accused the judges of using their position to undermine Nigeria's democracy for political interests.

A petition signed by members of the coalition, Ariyo Dare-Atoye, Deji Adeyanju and Adebayo Raphael and submitted to the US Embassy in Abuja on Thursday, January 23, described the judgment as a terrible miscarriage of justice.

Similarly, some Christian leaders in Imo declared that they do not believe that Uzodinma won the election and asked the Supreme Court to review the ruling.
