Well, Nollywood actor, Uche Maduagwu, has taken to social media to react to Burna Boy's loss to Angelique Kidjo, as well as prophecy that billionaire daughter, DJ Cuppy, will be the first DJ from Nigeria to get a Grammy nomination.

According to Maduagwu, Angelique Kidjo's win is a victory for all African women and it is wishful thinking to hope another African singer will beat someone who already has three Grammy wins and a four decade of dominance as a globally successful African singer.

Uche Maduagwu added that Nigerian female musicians should see Angelique Kidjo as a motivation to rise up and take over the male dominated music industry.

The caption to his post reads: "Angelique Kidjo's Grammy is a victory for women in Africa, @cuppymusic will become the first Nigerian DJ to get a Grammy nomination.

It's a wishful thinking hoping for another African singer to beat someone that already has 3 Grammy awards, a four decade of dominance as a successful African singer globally, and 13 albums to her credit, this Beninese singer deserve to win the best world music category at the 62nd Grammy award in America.
