Abule Egba explosion: Pastor Adeboye reacts to RCCG house fellowship centre untouched by fire

Legit.ng had earlier reported that pipelines around Abule Egba area of Lagos state were vandalised on Sunday, January 19, and it had led to an explosion that destroyed properties and took five lives.

Despite the destruction that occurred in the area, it has been reported that one house was left untouched by the fire when every other house surrounding it was destroyed.

In a video making rounds online, a young man was heard saying that the house was still intact when the two buildings beside it were already destroyed. He also noted that the house is a fellowship centre for members of the Redeemed Christian Church of God.

Reacting to the video that was shared on Instagram, the general overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Enoch Adeboye, shared a Bible verse from Exodus chapter 12 in the comment section.

He said: "The blood shall be for as a token upon the house where I al and when you see the blood you will pass over and the plague shall not be upon me to destroy me when you smite the land of Egypt."

Meanwhile, Legit.ng had earlier reported that top government officials had reacted to the fire outbreak in Abule Egba. Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos had vowed that there will be 'no mercy' for vandals in the state and former vice president of Nigeria, Atiku Abubakar, sent condolences to the residents of Abule-Egba who were affected by the pipeline explosion.
