Speaking at the event during his opening remarks, Okowa urged the couple to remain faithful to each other.

Okowa said staying faithful with each other and being optimistic will help the couple have a successful married life.

"The newlyweds are truly important to us and that is the reason why we are here. I have no doubt that this marriage is already a success as both families are praying families and when I watched them in church as the pastor preached, I could understand that they got the message and realise that they are in a covenant in this marriage and the only thing that holds the covenant together is the Lord Jesus Christ," Okowa said.
