Babajide Ojo emerges best PhD student of Oklahoma State University

- Babajide Ojo, a 31-year-old Nigerian, has received an honorary marshal for being the best PhD student at Oklahoma State University

- The Nigerian had his first degree from the University of Ado Ekiti before he proceeded for his postgraduate studies in nutritional science

- Babajide's exceptional performance during his masters earned him a scholarship for his doctoral programme

Babajide Ojo, aged 31 years, is another Nigerian that has made the nation really proud as he received special recognition for his academic effort in the US.

He achieved a milestone of being the best PhD student at Oklahoma State University. For the success, he was decorated with an honorary marshal in a ceremony that was held on Friday, December 13.

It should be noted that the Nigerian had a first degree from the University of Ado Ekiti before he went to the American university for his masters in nutritional science.

Following the excellent grades he was able to gather during his post-graduate programme, he got a scholarship for his PhD.

In talking about his wife’s academic journey, Eustace said that his wife already knew what career path she would choose when she finished her primary school education at the young age of nine.

It was, however, in 2008, that her dream of becoming a nurse started when she completed her course at the State School of Nursing Agbor, Delta state.

In 2010, she relocated to the US where she became an American registered nurse before she proceeded to get her BSc in nursing from Bowie State University.
