American rapper Cardi B reveals she's missing Nigeria

American rapper Cardi B has left many of her Nigerian fans excited after she took to her social media page to reveal she was missing Nigeria already.

The 27-year-old rapper whose stay in Nigeria caused quite a buzz both online and offline with her colourful and beautiful opinions about Nigeria and its people seems to have found a home in the country.

The mother of one who clearly had a good and perhaps, wild experience in Nigeria recently returned to the United States after her performance in Ghana. However, the star seems to be missing Nigeria already.

Taking to her Instagram story, she shared a photo of herself during her performance in Nigeria and captioned it: "Missing Nigeria."

Cardi B who left Nigeria for Ghana on Sunday, November 8, seemed to have had a completely different reception in the country.

Recall that hours after she landed in Ghana, social media was set abuzz after some aggrieved celebrities in the country vented their anger at the superstar for not honouring a meet-and-greet that had been scheduled with her, despite her presence at the venue.

Well, it did not just stop there. A video is currently making the rounds online that captured the moment some members of the audience started throwing bottles at the stage, during her performance.

Meanwhile, a report which has since surfaced on the internet suggests that the American rap star was reportedly paid a whopping N1.8 billion to perform both in Lagos, Nigeria and Ghana. According to a local news site, the vivacious star’s trip to Nigeria and Ghana cost about $5m dollars which translates to a whopping N1.8 billion.

Sources revealed that the two countries budgeted about $2.5m each to secure the 27-year-old's visit to the countries for her music performance. The $2.5m (N906.2m) covers the performance fees per country and the production costs per country too.
