In the interview with UTV Ghana, the actress revealed that she will never marry or date a poor man. A snippet of the interview which is yet to be aired was shared on the Instagram page of UTV Ghana.

According to the actress, money solves a lot of problems and it can make things smooth when a marriage is in turbulence.

She said: "Money answereth all things and it can make things a little bit smooth when there is turbulence in marriage."

Samonas further talked about her friendship with Shatta Wale. She noted that she likes Shatta Wale a lot without revealing if they are in a romantic relationship.
