BBNaija: I admire Tacha - Mercy says after winning grand prize

- Mercy expressed regret that Tacha was disqualified from the show as she admired her a lot

The BBNaija 2019 reality show has finally come to an end. Even though the viewers had their desired choice on who should win the grand prize, only one winner emerged as expected.

The winner of the show, Mercy Eke, no doubt drew a series of interesting reactions from fans as they congratulated her. Some other viewers, however, felt another housemate, Tacha, would have given Mercy a serious run for the grand prize if she had not been disqualified from the show.

In an exclusive interview with Legit.ng, Mercy spoke on her relationship with Tacha. The 26-year-old revealed that she greatly admires Tacha and would have loved to see her at the finals.

Mercy also added that she wished the issue they had did not escalate to the point of getting Tacha disqualified. She said: “Tacha is one person I'd love to see at the finale. I admire her. I feel bad that it got to the extent that she was disqualified.”

Mercy who also got people talking on social media over her romantic relationship with another contestant, Ike, has now spoken on the feelings they share now that she has emerged as the winner of the show.

According to her, their love is bigger than money and it has nothing to do with her winning the grand prize. She said: “Winning the money has nothing to do with my relationship with Ike. Our love is bigger than money.”

Recall that Tacha got disqualified from the BBNaija show after she was involved in a very heated fight with Mercy. As the fight escalated, Tacha was seen yanking Mercy's hair on two different occasions as well as shoving her.
