Liverpool vs Leicester City saw Jurgen Klopp's side continue their perfect start of the new campaign as they won their eight straight Premier League match.

James Milner scored a late penalty to win it 2-1 for the Reds after James Maddison had drawn Leicester level from a Sadio Mane's first half strike.

Milner had the first chance of the match after a Trent Alexander-Arnold's cross was met by the captain but could not keep his shot down.

Wilfred Ndidi was booked in the 29th minute after catching Milner late in Liverpool's build to a counter attack

Chances were few and far between but five minutes before half time Mane latched on to a pass from Milner as he picked his spot to put the Reds ahead by 1-0.

Mane and Salah were involved in a couple of one-twos but the Senegalese striker could not hit the target in the 55th minute.

Dennis Praet drilled in a shot that almost leveled the scores for Leicester in the 72nd minute but his effort drifted just inches off the post.

With just ten minutes to goal, the Foxes equalized through Maddison to make it 1-1 as Liverpool were punished for their missed chances.

Milner then scored a late winner from the penalty in the third minute of injury time after Mane was fouled in the box by Marc Albrighton as it ended 2-1 at Anfield.
