The leadership of the National Assembly, has sent its congratulatory message to President Muhammadu Buhari on his victory at the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal on Wednesday, September 11.
On his official Twitter page, the Senate president, Ahmad Lawan, through his special assistant on new media, Abubakar Sidiq Usman, said that the ruling of the tribunal has sealed the mandate of President Buhari.
Lawan also said that the verdict of the tribunal is a reminder of the fact that Nigerians still have confidence in the president's capacity to take the nation to greater heights, adding that the electorate have hope in his Next Level agenda.

Also, the speaker of the House of Representatives, Femi Gbajabiamila, hailed President Buhari on his victory, adding that the verdict echoed the wishes of Nigerians and that this is the beauty of democracy.
Meanwhile, Legit.ng reported that Governor Yahaya Bello of Kogi state had sent his congratulations to President Buhari over his win at the election tribunal on Wednesday, September 11.
In addition to that, he praised the tribunal’s ruling as he wished Buhari a smooth second term administration in office.
The governor in a statement by Muhammed Onogwu, his chief press secretary, said the judiciary has again proved itself in the upholding of the nation’s democracy.
