No one is more excited than the BeyHive whenever Beyonce releases a new album. Beyonce has announced that she will be releasing her new album The Gift on July 19th 2019 and fans are eagerly awaiting the drop. The album will also feature African artists.

Just over a year since Beyonce released her 'Everything is Love' album that she created with her husband Jay-Z, she is now back with a new album. The Lion King: The Gift is an album that Beyonce curated for Disney's live-action remake of Lion King. According to the songstress, this new album is "a love letter to Africa". In light of this, she chose "to include the best talent from Africa, and not just use some of the sounds". She said that she wanted to show what was beautiful about music in Africa.

Beyonce released the tracklist for The Gift, and it has 14 songs in it. The album has famed not only such American artists as Childish Gambino, Pharrell Williams and Kendrick Lamar, but also numerous African artists from both West Africa and South Africa.

These African artists are:

1. Teckno

Known for his song Pana, he has been featured in the song 'Don't Jealous Me'.

2. Yemi Alade

She is among the most known female musicians from Africa. From her very famous song Johnny, she has gone on to feature big artists such as Rick Ross and has now added Beyonce to her list of collaborations. Yemi features in two songs in The Gift; 'Don't Jealous Me' with Tekno and Mr Eazi as well 'My Power' with Tierra Whack and others.

3. Mr Eazi

Like Yemi Alade, he also features in two songs: 'Keys to the Kingdom' as well as 'Don't Jealous Me'.

4. Burna Boy

Just off his recent win at the BET Awards under the Best International Act, he made his mark again by being among the African artists to help bring Gift to life. He collaborates with the RnB singer on the song 'JA ARA E'.

5. Wizkid

The 29-year-old musician has had a chance to collaborate with internationally celebrated musicians such as Drake and Justine Sky. He has now made another international mark by featuring in the song 'Brown Skin Girl'.

6. Tiwa Savage

The beautiful musician joins Beyonce and Mr Eazi on 'Keys to the Kingdom'.

The Ghanaian-born producer and reggae-dancehall musician brings a touch of dancehall to The Lion King: The Gift album and represents Ghana and Africa as a whole.
