Falcons player Ordega Francisca insists on wearing makeup to next World Cup match

- Following Nigeria's defeat in the first match in the Women's World Cup, many Nigerians have taken to social media to react

- A Twitter user however, blamed one of the Super Falcon players, Francisca Ordega, for the defeat, siting her hairdo and makeup as the reason

- The Super Falcon player responded to the criticism, stating she would wear more makeup in the next match

Earlier on, Legit.ng reported the news of how Nigeria vs Norway's World Cup game ended 3-0 in favor of the Norwegians. Super Falcons conceded the three goals in the first half and were unable to score.

Amongst the many Nigerians who reacted to the defeat is Twitter user, @Hedrizsneh, who criticized one of the Super Falcon players, Francisca Ordega, for the defeat. According to him, her long hair, makeup and painted nails prevented her from performing well.

She however responded, stating she would wear even more makeup in the next match: "Hey you, I mean you..the girl with the attachment was me and I see no read why my own attachment and make up come be your problem, and if at all it is then abeg unplugged your TV and never watch again cos I will do more of that for the next game..so be ready to see more.."

Women's 2019 World Cup in France is expected to be played for a month in which the final of the championship will be played in Lyon on July 7.

24 nations will take part in the tournament which splits across six groups of four.

Meanwhile, a Nigerian Twitter user identified as @emybuddyman has shared the photo of one of the Super Falcons who he claimed gave him the thrashing of his life while they were in primary school.

Embuddyman gave the name of the Nigerian female footballer he gave him the memorable beating of his life as Rita Chikwelu.
