President Muhammadu Buhari presides over FEC meeting

The Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting is currently ongoing at the presidential villa with President Muhammadu Buhari presiding over it.

Present at the meeting, which is holding in Abuja State House, are the secretary to the government of the federation, Boss Mustapha, the chief of staff, Abba Kyari, and the national security adviser, Babagana Monguno, Daily Trust reports.

Others at the meeting are the 21 ministers. As at time of filling this report Vice President Yomi Osinbajo was reportedly absent.

Legit.ng gathers that the meeting started with the arrival of the president to the council chamber of the villa by 10:59am.

Meanwhile, Legit.ng previously reported that President Buhari hosted members of the House of Representatives who were elected on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC) to a dinner.

The president met with the lawmakers on Tuesday, April 16, inside the Banquet Hall of the State House in Abuja.
