VP Yemi Osinbajo donates N1 million to ailing veteran actor Baba Suwe

- Vice President Yemi Osinbajo reportedly comes to Baba Suwe's aid

- The VP had reportedly donated a sum of one million naira to the ailing actor

- Baba Suwe who is battling serious ailment needs all the financial help he can get for his medical treatment.

Nigeria's vice president, Yemi Osinbajo, has shown that he truly cares about Nigerians in a recent act of kindness. The politician and pastor reportedly came to the aid of ailing veteran actor Babatunde Omidina popularly known as Baba Suwe.

Legit.ng had earlier reported that Baba Suwe had revealed that he is battling with partial stroke in an interview he did with a radio station in Lagos state.

Osinbajo reportedly donated the sum of one million naira to Baba Suwe for his medical treatment.

Osinbajo had made the donation through the office of the youth organising secretary for All Progressives Congress in Lagos state, Aregbe Idris.

It was gathered that Idris was also in the company Nollywood actress, Remi Surutu, and some musical acts.

The vice president also prayed for the veteran actor's quick recovery. He pleaded with Nigerians who have the ability to lend their support to the actor to do so.

He said: “God is to us a God of deliverance; and death has no power over your life. I am positive that his healing hands will restore your health and cast out every form of infirmity in your body.”

Meanwhile, Legit.ng had earlier reported that under the auspices of the Theatre Arts and Motion Picture Producers Association of Nigeria (TAMPAN), the likes of Prince Jide Kosoko, Yinka Quadri, Ayo Adesanya, Bolaji Amusan, Lasun Ray and Yemi Solade and others had gathered to present a cheque of N500k to their favourite presidential candidate.

The cheque was presented to minister of works, power and housing, Babatunde Fashola, at an event.
