Chelsea striker Olivier Giroud has reportedly emerged as top transfer target for Spanish League giants Barcelona this month.
The Catalans are shopping for back up attackers for ageing Luis Suarez who scored twice in his side's 3-0 win over Eibar at the Camp Nou last weekend.
They are also looking for replacements for Munir El Haddadi and Paco Alcacer following their exit from the club recently.
Despite his not to superb performances this term, Suarez has scored 14 goals and five assists in 18 La Liga appearances this season.
But the club according to SunSport would not want to overwork him any further, and they are hoping they can sign Giroud, whose contract with the Blues expire this summer.
Barca willing to pay £13.5 million for the former Arsenal forward according to Spanish outlet SPORT.
Meanwhile, he is expected to receive offers to move to the Chinese Super League once his deal lapses at the end of this campaign.
Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri has stylishly shown he doesn't need both Giroud and fellow striker Alvaro Morata at Stamford Bridge anymore after bidding to siign AC Milan forward, Gonzalo Higuain.
The Blues handler is also eyeing a move for Bournemouth hot shot Callum Wilson and are willing to £50m for the England striker - the Cherries may demand even more than that, though.
Reports reveal that Morata is in talks with Atletico Madrid, especially with Eden Hazard deployed in a 'false 9' role in recent weeks.

Also, Barcelona are considering a deal for Cristhian Stuani, who has scored 12 goals in 17 La Liga matches.
He scored two goals in the 2-2 draw at the Nou Camp in September, and is now also a target for Ernesto Valverde at Barca, say AS.
