Premier League giants Liverpool have completed the signing of Brazilian goalkeeper Alisson Becker in what is regarded as the world's expensive deal for a goalkeeper.
Since the day Liverpool were beaten in the 2017/18 Champions League final where Loris Karius made a gaffe against Real Madrid, the Reds have been looking for a new stopper.
And the Anfield landlords have now gotten 25-year-old Brazil international and also confirmed the deal on their social media platform.
Alisson, who began his career with Internacional in 2002 in his homeland was Brazil's No.1 at the 2018 World Cup in Russia this summer.
Alisson represented Brazil at various youth levels before making his senior international debut in 2015 and also represented the nation at the Copa América Centenario in 2016 and the 2018 FIFA World Cup.
Earlier, Legit.ng had reported how Premier League giants Liverpool were said to have agreed to sign Brazil goalkeeper Alisson Becker from Roma in a fee around €75 million (£66.8m).
The deal will see the 25-year-old become the most expensive goalkeeper in the world as the Reds are desperately in need a new number one.
