A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja, Mathias Aliu, has said the policies of the party are transforming the lives of Nigerians across the country.
Aliu, aide to Abuja Municipal Area Council (AMAC) chairman on inter-governmental affairs, stated this at the presentation of bags to rice to polling units chairman in Wuse and wards executive of the APC in Abuja on Wednesday, June 15.
He said the progress that has been made by the Buhari administration in various sectors of the country's economy “is unprecedented.”
He said the party needs all the support it could get ahead of the 2019 elections as other parties are “playing and do not have the capacity to make life better for Nigerians.”
He continued: “We have to be patient. What the president is doing is for the good of the country and that is why we have to support this government whole-heartedly as party members.
“The only party that can really provide the change is the APC. Have you really seen any serious party out there? I'm sure you know the answer.
“Security has improved, the economy is improving, all we have to do is be patient. By God's grace, we will see a far more better Nigeria in a few months. We must not lose hope, we must pray for the AMAC chairman, we must pray for the FCT minister, we must pray for Buhari. God knows why he put them in position at this time. Nigeria will surely get better."

Meanwhile, a pro-Buhari support group, Vote Guard and Awareness for Buhari, has urged President Muhammadu Buhari to intervene in the crisis rocking the APC across the nation.
Leader of the group, Alhaji Kelani Mohammed, at a press briefing in Kaduna, stressed that the crisis rocking the party in many states require the president’s personal intervention.
According to him, the APC needed a united front ahead of the 2019 general elections, even as he blamed some governors for igniting some of the crises by allegedly hijacking the party machinery in their states and scuttling internal democracy.
