Christian lady provides iftar for Muslims during Ramadan in Lagos

Ramadan is the Islamic month that represents a time reflect for all Muslims. Muslims are expected to fast for thirty days during Ramadan and a Christian lady has decided to help less fortunate Muslims during this period of Ramadan.

A Nigerian lady has taken it upon herself to help Muslims during Ramadan period. The lady identified as Olashile Aboyemi distributes food to Muslims for them to break their fast during Ramadan.

It was gathered that the young lady does this good deed despite the fact that she is a Christian with different beliefs.

Legit.ng came across the good deed after her story was shared by Facebook user Muhammad Auwal Musa. In the photos shared by the Facebook user, the lady was seen carrying two food flasks containing jollof rice and chicken as iftar for Muslims in her area.

The Holy month of Ramadan is a reminder of the suffering and pains that less privileged people endure in their daily lives because they have nothing to eat or drink to sustain them on a daily basis.

To many Muslims who are privileged, the purpose of fasting is to empathize with people who are less fortunate and also act upon that empathy by helping them with whatever they have.

This Christian lady showed that acting on the empathy is not only something that applies to Muslims but to everyone.
