Get well soon - Buhari's daughter tells brother

President Muhammadu Buhari's daughter, Zahra Buhari Indimi, took to her Instagram page to send her brother a get-well-soon message.

Recall that Legit.ng previously reported that Yusuf suffered a head injury and multiple fractures in a power bike accident in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) on Tuesday, December 26, night.

Zahra, on her instagram page, thanked Nigerians for all their kind messages to Yusuf and assured them that her brother is getting better.

She wrote: "#Get well soon Yusuf. Thank you for all the kind messages, Yusuf is doing better. Alhamdulillah."

A source that is familiar with Yusuf Buhari’s medical treatment however claimed that his level of consciousness was five in the scale of 15 when he was brought in.

Another source said since there was no air ambulance in the country, the presidential jet will be kitted to provide support and take Yusuf to either Germany or the UK for further treatment.

Meanwhile, Yusuf will be flown out of the country to Germany for treatment, according to reports by a close source.

The presidency in a statement had said Yusuf was in a stable condition but The Cable reports that sources said he was still in intensive care unit.

The source said: “The statement did not reflect the true situation of things. The boy is in a critical condition. He has been in the intensive care unit."
