Alleged oldest woman in Rivers state dies at 134 years old (photos)
Youths in Rivers state took to their Facebook handle to mourn the death of Sarah Wutche who was reported to have been the oldest woman in the state. She died at the age of 134 years.
The president of the youths in the community Amadi Promzy Chimenem took to his Facebook handle to announce the passing on of this woman.
He posted her picture with the caption: “Sad news I regret to announce to us members and well-wishers of Association Of Obio/Akpor Youths (AOY), that our mother's day mother of the year and the oldest woman in OBIO/AKPOR Mrs Sarah Wutche is late aged 134yrs. President General: Amadi Amadi Promzy Chimenem.”

He further posted another picture of the deceased with the caption: “MAMA YOU LIVED WELL AT ONE HUNDRED AND THIRTY FOUR YEARS (134YRS) YOU WERE STILL STRONG AND HEALTHY TO WALK ON YOUR OWN. MAY HEAVEN REJOICE IN YOUR DEATH BECAUSE YOU LIVED A LIFE WELL SPENT. REST IN PEACE MRS SARAH WUTCHE. I PRESENT TO YOU THE OLDEST WOMAN IN OBIO/AKPOR WHO DEATH OCCURRED YESTERDAY AND SHE DIED AT THE AGE OF 134 YEARS AND MAY HER GENTLE SOUL REST IN PERFECT PEACE AND I AM VERY HAPPY THAT I CAME IN CONTACT WITH YOU WHILE YOU STILL LIVED AND I TAPPED INTO YOUR OLD AGE GRACE.”

Legit.ng earlier reported that on Sunday, March 28, the Ask Obalga youths gathered and paid the deceased a courtesy visit in order to celebrate Mother’s Day with her. However, the deceased was to have been born in 1883.
