Chiamaka Nnadozie placed fourth in the 2025 Women's Yashin Trophy at the Ballon d'Or award in Paris on Monday night, September 22.
The inaugural award was won by England's Hannah Hampton, who won the Women's Euros back-to-back under coach Sarina Wiegman.

In second position is Germany's Ann-Katrin Berger, and Spain's Cata Coll comes in third. The Netherlands' Daphne van Domselaar completes the top five.
Meanwhile, the Nigerian international played a huge role in the Super Falcons' 2024 Women's Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) victory in Morocco, per Premium Times.

Her performance did not go unnoticed as she retained the CAF Best Women's goalkeeper of the tournament.
The 24-year-old won the 2024 UNFP goalkeeper of the season with Paris FC and won the Coupe de France Feminine.
The former Rivers Angels player has experience in the Women's Champions League, having made 16 European appearances for Paris FC between 2022 and 2025, per BBC.
The shot-stopper caught the attention of the teams following her performance at the 2023 Women’s World Cup, where she won Player of the Match in Nigeria’s shock victory over Australia.
Brighton celebrates Nnadozie
Chiamaka Nnadozie joined Brighton from Paris FC after the 2024 Women's Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) in June.
In a post on X, the Women's Premier League side congratulated the Nigerian international on her nomination as one of the Yashin Trophy nominees.

Nnadozie is a future winner - Bako
Nigeria football administrator Moses Bako said Super Falcons goalkeeper Chiamaka Nnadozie has the potential to become the World number 1.
Speaking in an exclusive interview with Legit.ng, Bako explained that the Brighton goalkeeper rose from the Nigerian League to conquer Africa and the World. He said:
"I am happy with the nomination of Chiamaka Nnadozie, and I strongly believe that she has what it takes to become the World number 1 in the future. She is a product of the Nigerian league, and it shows that Nigeria is a producing nation."
Nnadozie bragged about her skills in training
Legit.ng earlier reported that Chiamaka Nnadozie bragged online after pulling off a smart goalkeeping move during a Super Falcons training session.
The trainer accused her of cheating the system, but she argued it was a smart move to get results, and that is why she was the best keeper in Africa.
