Asisat Oshoala Sends Subtle Message to Peller After Tiktoker’s Social Media Outburst Against Her

  • Asisat Oshoala has stylishly responded to Peller after the popular TikToker attacked her and her Super Falcons teammates
  • Peller had made a social media rant claiming Oshoala and others were avoiding him after receiving $100,000 from President Tinubu
  • Oshoala and fellow Super Falcons teammates were rewarded by Tinubu after winning the Women’s Africa Cup of Nations

Super Falcons star Asisat Oshoala’s friendship with Habib Okikiola, popularly known as Peller, appears to have taken a nosedive in recent days due to the latest interactions between the pair.

Nigeria’s win at the Women’s Africa Cup of Nations and the rewards afterwards have caused a once-blossoming friendship to hit a wall due to remarks made by the popular TikToker.

The entire team, who are entitled to 30 percent of the $1 million prize money from the competition, were also given a national honour and a house by Tinubu for winning a record-extending tenth WAFCON title, per Punch.

Apparently, these monetary rewards appeared to have caused friction between Peller and some members of the Super Falcons squad, including Oshoala.

Peller takes shot at Oshoala

Peller publicly expressed his anger with Oshoala and other Super Falcons members, accusing them of neglecting him following their recent financial reward from the President.

The TikToker said in a video circulating online that his messages to the Falcons' players have gone unanswered since the team's WAFCON title reward of $100,000 was awarded to the players.

Peller revealed he had made several attempts to get in contact with Oshoala and others but has been met with silence at every turn, causing him to call out the Super Falcons team players.

Oshoala ignores Peller’s jabs

Meanwhile, Oshoala has refused to be dragged into a war of words with Peller as she appears to have moved on with her life by doing some charity work.

The Bay FC player and six-time African Player of the Year winner reacted after she posted pictures from her latest charity work in the country, her first since returning from winning the WAFCON in Morocco.

Oshoala’s latest seemed like a subtle message to Peller as she chose to ignore the accusations from the popular TikToker while focusing on her charity work.
