Arsenal told to sign Isak
The Gunners have lacked a reliable number nine since they started challenging for the league title. Gabriel Jesus, Eddie Nketiah, and Kai Havertz struggled to get enough goals for Aerteta's side.
Former Gunners star Alan Smith believes the Newcastle striker is the missing link in the Arsenal attack.
“I think Alexander Isak would definitely fit in at Arsenal,” Smith said. “It might be that he doesn’t play every week, but I am a big fan of his," Smith said via The Mirror.
"Technically, he is very good and I think you have to be in that Arsenal team. He’s somebody that’ll play on that last line more than Kai Havertz wants to do.”
The Swede scored a brilliant header for the Magpies to defeat Arsenal on November 2 in the Premier League. Smith added that Isak is the missing link in the Arsenal team and add depth.
“There’s a missing link in their attack and Isak would complete it."
Arsenal's starting striker last season, Havertz, scored 13 goals in the league.
