Birthday Boy Davido Calls Out 6 Rich Nigerian Players To Send Him N1m Each Despite Receiving N171m in 1 Day

Rave of the moment and music icon Davido has reached out to a number of Nigerian footballers to send him N1million each ahead of his 29th birthday on Sunday, November 21.
Nigerian singer Davido is currently enjoying an outpour of love from his friends and colleagues in the entertainment industry.
The singer took to his Instagram page calling out his friends and charging them to send him money, Vanguard reports.

Davido had explained that he has spent a lot of his life extending a helping hand to those around him and it is now time for him to enjoy the same act of generosity.

Shortly after his call, the singer’s friends listened and many are already digging deep into their bank accounts for the singer.
The singer initially lashed out at an individual who sent him N10k before he started a roll call of his colleagues that have sent N1million each to him.
Davido mentioned several celebrities including Zlatan, Mr Eazi, Adekunle Gold, Chike, among others who sent him the sum he requested for.
And less than a day after posting his account number, the ‘Jowo’ crooner has already garnered over N171million, but despite that, he has called on footballer friends to also do the needful.
Davido called out Nigerian players when he said:
“Henry (Onyekwuru), Asisat (Oshoala) Wilfred (Ndidi) oya oya oya. Obagoal (Obafemi Martins), Kelechi (Iheanacho), Alex Iwobi…, I wait I wait.”
Harrysong hails Davido
Meanwhile, singer Harrysong has taken to his social media page to hail Davido amidst criticisms in some quarters against him.
Reacting to the amount of money Davido got from friends in hours, Harrysong said the father of three is the most powerful and biggest influencer in Africa.
Harrysong further noted that Davido's influence cuts across social media to reality.

Legit.ng earlier reported that Governor Okowa of Delta state’s aide, Ossai Ovie Success, has spoken on the millions top Nigerian singer, Davido received from friends.
On November 17, 2021, Davido shut down social media after his friends took up his challenge of proving their love for him by donating at least N1 million.
Taking to his Facebook page, Ossai Ovie Success noted that Davido needed to donate the millions he made to charity instead of using it to clear his Rolls Royce from the port as he claimed.
