Former Super Eagles midfielder, Austin Okocha, has finally made comments about his famous goal against legendary goalkeeper Oliver Kahn.
Sun News reports that Jay Jay, in a recent interview with Eintracht Frankfurt TV, spoke on a wide range of issues including that famous strike against Karlsruher CS.
That strike remains one of the most unbelievable in the history of the Bundesliga as the Nigerian superstar dribbled and nutmegged a couple of players before slotting past Kahn.

But Okocha has insisted that he did not have the intention to mock the opponents on that fateful day, adding that he was only doing his job.
“So, I was very determined to take that opportunity. I don’t think I was nervous. I was looking forward to it. I was highly motivated to take that opportunity."
On whether he has ever spoken to Oliver Kahn regarding that wonder goal in 1993, he says:
“I don’t think there’s any need for us to talk about it because I was trying to do my job; he was trying to do his job as well. It wasn’t to take the Mickey out of him; I was just doing my job.”
What Kahn said about that goal
Former Germany goalkeeper Oliver Kahn had, in 2016, recounted how Super Eagles legend Austin Jay Jay Okocha’s goal left him dizzy in 1993.
Kahn reminisces about the former Nigerian international's sensational goal after 23 years saying he was yet to recover from the effect of that strike. The German wrote:
"Exactly 23 years is the sensational goal from Jay-Jay Okocha today ago - and I'm still dizzy..."
Who are Nigeria’s most successful players
Meanwhile, Legit.ng earlier reported that Finidi George is one of Nigeria's most successful players in Europe but the former Ajax legend has not been regarded as the most successful.
He won the Champions League trophy with the Amsterdam giants back in 1996 making him the first player from the country to do so.
Nwankwo Kanu was also a member of the team but the former Super Eagles winger was a regular in the then Loius Van Gaal's squad.
