Tinubu, Obi vs Atiku: South East Group Predicts Who Will Finally Win in 2027 Election

The Renewed Hope Ambassadors have declared that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu will secure a landslide victory in the 2027 presidential election.

In a statement cited by Legit.ng, jointly signed on Monday, September 29, by its South East coordinators, the group pointed to Tinubu’s “economy-revamping and nation-rebuilding” policies as the key reason for his growing popularity across the country.

South East leaders to host president

The declaration came ahead of President Tinubu’s scheduled visit to the South East on Tuesday, where he will be received by leaders in Owerri, the Imo state capital.

The president is also expected to commission landmark projects executed by Imo State Governor and Chairman of the Progressive Governors’ Forum, Senator Hope Uzodinma.

South east group decribes visit as symbolic

Hosts of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors of the South East – Chief Henry Ikoh (Abia), Chief Okey Ezenwa (Anambra), Barr. Kelechi Igwe (Ebonyi), Barr. George Ogara (Enugu), and Rt. Hon. Opiah Goodluck (Imo) – called the visit a chance for the president to "feel the legendary warmth of the South East and see the huge support of the people of the zone for him and his government.".

This South East Zone visit is important and signifies a move that is to precede key activities in commemoration of the historic anniversary and celebration of the remarkable 10 years in office of the All Progressive Congress (APC) and, most particularly, the second year in office of President Tinubu," the statement concluded.

Tinubu praised as nation’s transformer

The group described President Tinubu as “the father of our nation and the transformer of our era,” noting that his policies were inspiring “positive actions among hardworking Nigerians” at home and abroad.

They highlighted that the president’s scheduled commissioning of projects by Governor Uzodinma aligned with the “Renewed Hope Agenda.”

Emphasizing their determination to back Tinubu's re-election, Renewed Hope Ambassadors vowed him unbroken support in the South East and nationwide.

"However, the South East wishes to cast their votes en masse for President Tinubu in 2027 to occupy the center seat at the table in the equitable sharing of resources and infrastructure," they said.

The Renewed Hope Ambassadors, thus, promise President Tinubu the love, commitment, and endorsement of the vast majority of the masses and leaders of the South East and, of course, Nigerians in the 2027 presidential election.

They further pledged to continue working under Governor Uzodinma’s leadership to ensure a nationwide landslide victory for Tinubu.

Previously, Legit.ng reported that Nigeria’s third force candidate in the 2023 poll, Peter Obi, is widely expected to be a major candidate in the 2027 presidential election.
