In a message posted on X (formerly Twitter) on Thursday, August 14, Onochie addressed the late Buhari, who died in July, describing the party he once led as “a private enterprise” that had abandoned principles of fairness, equity, justice, and equality.

“Dear Baba, APC is now a Private Enterprise. It has lost all the values you stood for. Fairness, equity, justice, equality, etc., have all been kpaied,” she wrote.

Onochie condemns APC for rewarding alleged misconduct

The former presidential aide also accused some members of the party of misconduct, alleging that senators from the APC had assaulted airport staff and hijacked planes, yet were rewarded with diplomatic postings.

“APC Senators assault Airport staff. They hijack planes and then, are rewarded as ambassadors,” Onochie claimed in her post.

She further criticised what she called a culture of selective morality within the party, where wrongdoing was ignored or beautified if committed by certain individuals, but condemned when associated with opposition figures.

“Iniquities are sprayed with roses and perfumes; unless you belong to the opposition,” she said.
