In a TikTok video by @bisconmedia, the woman, who spoke in Yoruba, narrated how her husband always took care of her and the kids.

Three years into the marriage, she shared what had changed in the relationship and why she accused him of cheating.

She said in the viral video:

“I regret that I left my husband. He was taking care of us, our kids and my family. Three years into the marriage, I was the ones always complaining because my husband was always receiving some calls that he couldn't answer in my presence. That's I started lamenting and accusing him of cheating, my husband always tells me to calm down, that he's not cheating.

"But because I am hot-minded and I always said I would never stay with an unfaithful partner, I started monitoring my husband. I was always checking his phone."

The video was captioned:

"I regret that I leave my 6yrs marriage. In fact, I want to go back to my husband but its too late."

A marital coach, Esther Usetim, who spoke to Legit.ng shared her advice for the woman.

She said:

"She should consider professional help if she can. Therapy or counseling can be very powerful in working through regret, grief, and rebuilding confidence.
"She has to accept her reality and move on. Instead of seeing her decision as a mistake, she should reframe it as a choice she made, with the knowledge and feelings she had then, knowing that she acted based on what she thought was her best interest at that time.
