A Nigerian woman shed tears after delivering a baby girl, saying she had always wanted a boy as her first child.

In a video recording made in a car and shared on TikTok, the woman was comforted by her doting husband.

The woman explained that she was disappointed, adding that her little princess chose to come first against her wish.

"I was hoping she's going to be a boy. But her dad win," she captioned the video.

The lady's husband drew her close and wiped tears from her eyes, assuring her that the next child would be a boy.

New mum refuses to touch her baby

Meanwhile, Legit.ng previously reported that a new mum had refused to touch her baby.

In a heartbreaking clip spotted on TikTok, a nurse brought the baby to the new mother who sat in a wheelchair.

Upon sighting her child, the woman's face was filled with sadness as she signalled the nurse to take the child away.

However, the nurse smiled and continued to bring the baby to her. Reacting to this, the new mum quickly turned her face in another direction.
