Man In Pain after Attempting to Purchase Goods from Chinese Website, WhatsApp Chat Surfaces

  • X user @NdiMuvenda shared a WhatsApp conversation with a Chinese seller after asking for an update on his order
  • The seller responded with a string of alarming messages explaining that police had raided their operation and seized items and phones
  • The seller told the buyer to get a lawyer and stay safe, leaving @NdiMuvenda stunned and vowing never to buy from a Chinese website again

An X user got far more than he bargained for when he reached out to a Chinese online seller asking about the status of his delivery, only to receive a response that left him speechless.

He shared a screenshot of his WhatsApp exchange with a seller based in Beijing, captioning the post with a blunt warning: "Never buying from a Chinese website again."

The Message That Started It All

The conversation began simply enough. @NdiMuvenda sent a routine follow-up asking for a shipping update on his order. The reply he received, however, was anything but routine.

The seller responded in broken English, writing:

"Raid by police yesterday, many items and phone take, all team trouble now, cannot ship right now, please get lawyer, stay safe."

The message suggested that law enforcement had stormed the seller's premises, confiscated goods and phones, and placed the entire team in some form of legal trouble.

Rather than a tracking number, the buyer was advised to seek legal counsel and watch his back.

Online Shoppers React to the Warning

The post quickly caught the attention of other social media users, many of whom found the situation both alarming and oddly amusing.

"Atleast they care about your safety!"

Nasho said:

"I ordered some underwear directly from china only cause I saw the ad on instagram (should have known better). Underwear was the worst product I’ve ever bought but I definitely didn’t need a lawyer."

Kyle added:

"Shouldn’t be doing that anyways mfs trying to look rich but not even close to it but wanna order fake designer to play the part sad times."
