Points Arsenal needs for EPL title win
Meanwhile, Legit.ng previously reported how many points Arsenal needs to win the English Premier League title.
Leandro Trossard emerged as the hero at the London Stadium with a late deflected strike that finally broke the deadlock after a tense and frustrating encounter for Mikel Arteta’s side. According to BBC Sport, the Belgian winger had earlier rattled the goalpost twice in quick succession before eventually finding the breakthrough with just seven minutes remaining.
The result came less than 24 hours after Manchester City kept their title hopes alive with a commanding 3-0 victory over Brentford. Pep Guardiola’s side remains firmly in the race, but Arsenal’s response means the Gunners still hold a valuable five-point advantage at the top of the table, albeit having played one more match.
