According to the video posted by CNN, the woman has three children, and two of them were born in America.

Her son, Isaac Perez, 14, had to self-deport and follow her after his mother was bundled and sent back to their home country.

Two of Kenia's children, who are American citizens, could not travel with her immediately since they did not have passports.

After a month, Isaac was able to join her mother. Also, his two little siblings later obtained their passports and followed suit.

The emotional video has sparked social media reactions as people comment on the consequences of the new US immigration crackdown.

CNN quoted an ICE spokesperson as saying:

Aliens "chose to break our nation’s criminal and administrative laws and as a result of those choices, are responsible for what happens to their children – just as any U.S. citizen parent who breaks the law is when they are taken to jail."
