She used the money she made from selling plastics to buy items she needed, instead of using the money she had saved at home.
According to a video she shared on her page, @ooshanla, via the popular social media platform TikTok, the woman explained that a carnival had taken place in her area.
At the hotel where she worked, many of the attendees had lodged there. She added that they drank a lot of beverages, which allowed her to collect numerous plastic bottles. She then took them to a vending machine to recycle.
Sharing her story, she said:
"I am at the location where they sell plastic bottles. Today I have enough water plastics at work. I was so surprised—it was as if they were packing it for me. They're doing a carnival in my area, so a lot of people came from different countries."
"The hotel where I work had a high number of guests. All the plastics they used from drinking different kinds of drinks, they left in the hotel rooms."
"All the hotel rooms I worked today, I found plastics inside."
"Let me show you the large plastics I saw today. I want to sell them and show you so you can know how much the plastics I found today are worth."
