A video showed the ingredients that popular Nigerian chef, Hilda Baci, would use for her record-breaking feat.

Popular Nigerian chef, Hilda Baci, had announced online that she would be attempting to make history for the largest pot of jollof rice ever cooked.

The event is set for September 12, 2025, at Eko Hotel and Suites, Lagos State, and Hilda had opened up about the number of people registered for the event.

Ingredients for Hilda Baci's jollof rice surface

A TikTok video by @am_maupdatehq showed the bags of onions and tomatoes, alongside other ingredients for the jollof rice.

The video also showed the gallons of oil and cartons of spices for the preparation of the largest pot of jollof rice.
