She said:

"I wasn’t allowed to travel with my Schengen visa. I got a one year Schengen visa but I couldn't travel with it. I got to the airport and I have checked in, I have done everything that was neccessary. I was even boarding when I was called back that 'wait, we just noticed something. There is something wrong with the visa, come back and be checked.' It was so confusing because they stated that they gave me a one year visa from the 1st of June, 2025 to expire 19th of June 2026. Then, because I was too hapy, I didn't check the other side. It states that it's single entry. But how can you give someone a one year visa and it showing that it is a single entry? It's confusing. They stated that to stay in the country for four days for a one year visa, so every body were like, no this is not possible. You are giving the person a one year visa and you are saying the person can only stay for four days single entry, not even a multiple entry. So that was where the problem came."

Reactions as lady shares her visa experience

"Check your application form. I am a travel Consultant and I can boldly tell you you that many people do make this mistake. They chose Single Entry instead of multiple Entry. My advice for anyone applying for any type of tourist visa, always chose Multiple entry visa regardless if it’s your first application or not. In conclusion, it could be what you filled in your application form. Also, was it your first time of getting visa from sweedish embassy? If yes, the probably gave you one month and they made a mistake."

@Daniel Amasiatu said:

"It’s not a mistake. It says you can only stay in the zone for 4 days any time you decide to visit within 1 year, what’s the confusion? When ever you decide to travel to the Schengen zone within the one year validity, you’re to stay for 4 days."
